Minnick's is hiring HVAC technicians to service-the Greater DC / Baltimore area. The Incumbent Will Be a team player contributing PRIMARILY Technical Responsible for performing skilled work in the-maintenance, Repair, replacement, and Installation of heating, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment, controls, and distribution systems.   

The ideal candidate Will Be committed to the project to Helping Customers RESOLVE their issues, answer questions, and establish Generates Relationship to Customers for life. The Incumbent Will Be Able to work independently with little or no direction, Will Be self-motivated, is not AFRAID of solving complex issues, and capable of projecting the confidence, CLARITY, and humility. The Functions of essential INCLUDE pocket are not limited to:

  • INSPECT, test, troubleshoot, and Repair heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems.
  • Install replacement parts for existing units According to Specifications and Guidelines Established safety.
  • Perform Safety Inspections and share Findings With The client, make recommendations to clients to Improve Operation of existing system features and Offer Added Suchi service as audit services and plumbing. 
  • Maintain vehicle, tools, and equipment for Ensuring Availability-the purpose of the safe operating condition.
  • Coach, mentor, Manage and Provide training to Less experienced technicians.
  • Icon participates in meetings, workshops, training, and seminars, as Assigned for-the purpose of conveying and/or information Gathering Required to PERFORM job Functions.
  • Maintain and timely paperwork and Provide ACCURATE ACCURATE and timely communications to internal and external clients.
  • Follow for safety practices within and adhere to for safety Related policies.
  • Assigned to RESPOND Emergency calls.
  • Listen to clients and build value With The Concerning Our client service.
  • Related Perform Other Duties as Assigned for-the-purpose-the Ensuring of Efficient and effective functionings of-the-work unit.
  • Assist in meeting company sales by making budget, install, maintenance, disclosure and follow-up work That Meet-the Required sales and service goals per position.
  • Stay up to date on the latest tools of the trade; cameras, testers.
  • Perform a VARIETY of Complicated tasks.
  • Transport a VARIETY of tools, equipment, and supplies for-the purpose of Ensuring Availability of Materials Required at-the-job site.
  • Other Duties as Assigned.

To qualify for this position, the applicant must own/ demonstrate-the following:

  1. High school diploma or Equivalent;
  2. Valid Driver's License Accepted With driving history;
  3. Minimum of 3-years of Experience for a Tech Level 1 or a minimum of 4-years of Experience and MD HVAC Journeyman licensing for a Senior Tech. 
  4. Self-starter Who demonstrates thorough attention to detail and Exercises Good Judgments and discretion;
  5. Safety conscience;
  6. Ability to work flexible work hours;
  7. Excellent Communication skills Written and verbal;
  8. EPA CFC refrigerants minimum Type II certification;
  9. Follow PROCEDURES for Our Operations Manual & Rewards program;
  10.  Must successfully pass DOT test;
  11. Demonstrate initiative in servicing clients and Maintaining positive client relations.
  12. Desire to Further Demonstrate career by continuous learning and Development on the products' installed and serviced by Minnick's.

The Physical demand for this position include:  

  1. Work Performed whiles the standing, sitting and/or walking.
  2. Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
  3. Requires the-use technologies of hands grasping for simple and fine manipulations.
  4. Requires bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, towards Reaching.
  5. Requires the ability to lift, carry, push or pull medium weights, up to 75 pounds
  6. Requires activities involving being around moving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust, fumes, and gases.
  7. Able to climb ladders and work at high, precarious places elevation of up to 50 Feet.
